The business environment has undergone significant transformation due to the fast expansion of technology leading to the creation of many new professions. Human resource management (HRM) stands out as one of the fastest-developing professions due to increased employment opportunities created by technological advancements. The development of Artificial Intelligence (AI) stands out as an essential technological advancement that impacts HRM through its effect on hiring processes and employee evaluation methods as well as engagement strategies. The research focused on investigating how artificial intelligence affects human resource management practices. Research based on previous literature reviews revealed digital human resource systems effectively strengthen manager-team relationships through personalized AI-driven guidance and recommendations. The study revealed that predictive analytics successfully demonstrated its capacity to automate and enhance different HRM practices.

This study examines how corporate governance dimensions relate to financial performance in Jordanian firms and whether ownership structure moderates these relationships. Quantitative analysis was conducted using secondary data on 69 companies listed on the Amman Stock Exchange from 2017-2022. Multivariate regression tested effects of board, transparency, ethics, and compliance indices on performance measured by Tobin's Q, ROA, and ROE. Moderated regression analyzed the contingency role of ownership concentration. Board size, independence, transparency, ethical conduct and legal compliance had significant positive impacts on valuations and profitability, supporting agency and stakeholder perspectives. Ownership concentration strengthened board monitoring but dampened transparency effects. The findings highlight the importance of governance practices like board oversight, disclosure and ethics for improving Jordanian firms' performance. Ownership contingencies suggest adapting governance mechanisms to concentrated structures. This study provides rare empirical evidence on the under-researched Jordanian context. Examining interactive effects of ownership brings new insights regarding concentrated emerging markets.

The lack of clarity related to the concept of emotional labor has impeded its development regardless of the conspicuous importance of emotional labor for the external and internal environments which include the employees, organizations, structure, operations, and clients. Thus, this research aims to highlight the connection between emotional labor and its impact on employee performance. This study is concerned with the employees in the services sector in the period between January 2011 and June 2022 and included a total of 21 articles. In general, this review found that emotional labor can result in positive results for the business, as enhancing workers’ satisfaction as well as performance, on the other hand, burnout and poor job performance when people are compelled to express emotions differently than their own, the findings were highlighting the consistent connection between surface acting (SA) and employee performance. Nonetheless, the findings of deep acting (DA) and the employee’s performance were blended (Çağlıyan et al., 2013; Alsakarneh et al., 2019). Searches were conducted using ProQuest, EBSCO, Emerald Insight, PsycINFO, Science Direct, and Google Scholar. The research team systematically reviewed each article and relative reports, eliminating those not relevant to the review.

The study mainly aimed to show the impact of positive psychological capital in enhancing the employee empowerment of faculty members in private Jordanian universities in the Northern Province. To achieve this goal, the researchers relied on two approaches: inductive and descriptive analytical approach, the SPSS software was also relied on to analyze the study data, and to test hypotheses, which were descriptive statistics measures, model fit tests, and multiple linear regression analysis, to test the study hypotheses. The study population was the private universities in the northern region, which amounted to 4 universities, and the study sample consisted of 81 qualified faculty members working in those universities. The most important results of the study were the presence of a positive psychological capital impact in promoting and enhancing employee empowerment represented by (delegation of authority, participation of a faculty member for effective decision-making, self-motivation, work environment, building confidence). As for the most important recommendations of the study, it is crystallized that university administrations looking for educational leadership should pay attention to the issue of psychological capital through coordination and cooperation with professional organizations specialized in it, in order to enhance the behavioral dimensions of lecturers within the university and spread its meanings in terms of hope, optimism, self-efficacy and flexibility and the impact of this on the efficiency of their teaching performance in it.

This study aimed to highlight the impact of business intelligence on green human resource practices in Jordanian industrial companies. The study adopted a descriptive-analytical approach, which is commonly used in this field. The study population consisted of Jordanian industrial companies listed on the Amman Stock Exchange, totaling 46 companies distributed across 9 sub-sectors. The study sample included individuals working at senior management levels (CEOs and their deputies) and middle management levels (department managers and section heads) in human resources, information technology, planning, research, and development within Jordanian industrial companies. The total number of employees in the sample was 230. For data analysis, the Statistical Package for Social Sciences V.20 (SPSS V.20) was used. The study findings revealed several significant results, including statistically significant impact of intellectual business intelligence in its dimensions (technology, individuals, strategic alignment) on green human resource practices in their dimensions (green recruitment, green training and development, green performance evaluation, and green compensation) within Jordanian industrial companies. The significant impact was evident across all dimensions of intellectual business intelligence. The presence of this impact underscores the importance of business intelligence systems in enhancing and developing human resource management and instigating changes in human resource management processes and practices to align with sustainability practices and environmental activities. This is achieved through the collection, storage, utilization, and sharing of information. Among the key recommendations, it is imperative to work on improving and enhancing the capability of business intelligence systems within the company to present information tailored to system users and achieve the highest level of integration with various company-specific information. Additionally, continuous motivation and encouragement of employees to engage in activities and practices supportive of the green environment are essential. This can be accomplished through recognition and providing paid leaves for their environmentally friendly activities.

This study sought to evaluate how concurrent engineering technology, and its aspects influence total quality, using digital transformation as a mediating factor in Jordanian public industrial companies up to 2023. Utilizing the Amman Stock Exchange directory, it examined 46 companies across nine sectors, sampling 41 company. The focus was on senior and middle management employees (in departments like finance, production, quality, R&D, and IT), estimating 369 participants, with 315 responses retrieved after filling an electronic questionnaire analyzed through SPSS. Findings showed concurrent engineering’s significance, especially in product, process, and supply chain design, and underscored digital transformation’s impact. Recommendations include continuous training in concurrent engineering, quality management, and digital transformation, fostering a culture of improvement, and investing in digital tools like AI and data analytics to enhance processes and decision-making.

The purpose of this study was to identify the association between financial advice, trust in financial advisors, financial knowledge, and retirement planning behavior and to determine the role of financial knowledge on the association between financial advice and trust in financial advisors as well as between trust in financial advisors and retirement planning behavior. A quantitative research design was used for the study and data were collected from 412 working Jordanian adults aged 25-60 through the use of an online questionnaire . The results demonstrate that financial advice and trust to financial advisors both directly and indirectly through facilitating financial knowledge impacts retirement planning behavior positively. The aforementioned findings lend more insight to the literature while confirming the complexity of such relationships in the context of Jordan and offering practical implications for financial service providers, policymakers, and individuals. Nonetheless, its strengths include the use of self-reported data and lack of a longitudinal design. The main contribution of this study is its theoretical and empirical contextualization of the application of the TTM to the study of the impact of financial advice on trust, financial knowledge, and retirement planning behaviour in the Middle East.
