Purpose – Family businesses cannot continue if they fail to enhance their strategic performance by creating sufficient value for their shareholders. This study explores how value-added intellectual capital (VAICTM) can enhance strategic performance (SP) by enhancing shareholder value added (SVA) of family businesses. Design/methodology/approach – The study depended on secondary data collected from (32) family firms listed on Amman Stock Exchange (ASE) for the period 2018–2023. Strategic financial performance was measured by shareholder value added (SVA). VAICTM was measured using Public’s (1998) model. The fixed effect model was used to estimate the study models. Findings – The ability to create value for family business shareholders is greatly influenced by intellectual capital (IC). The analysis results indicated that the added value of intellectual capital VAICTM with all its components contributes to enhancing strategic performance through the impact on the SVA. Practical implications – The outturns of this study can participate in directing the efforts of the ASE management to raise the level of intellectual capital value-added (VAICTM) of family businesses, to support the growth and development of these companies and improve their SP and sustainability. It also draws the attention of the family businesses’ management to enhance its ability to rely on measures that reflect SP. Originality/value – The impact of VAICTM on the SVA has not been studied in studies that have investigated the relationship between intellectual capital and family businesses performance. Previous studies focused on traditional financial performance measures, so this study focuses on VAICTM and its impact on SP represented by SVA.

This study aims to analyze the link between Perceived Volatility Reduction (PVR), Risk Perception, Stablecoin Usage Frequency, Market Confidence, and Stablecoin Adoption (SA). The primary goal is to determine if and to what degree these variables impact stablecoin adoption. We created a questionnaire to gather information from 198 Malaysians. To analyze the research model and test the hypotheses, the Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) method was utilized. According to the findings, there is a strong and positive association between Perceived Volatility Reduction (PVR) and Stablecoin Adoption (SA). Market players are more likely to adopt stablecoins if they perceive them as useful instruments for mitigating the severe price volatility inherent in traditional cryptocurrencies. This finding emphasizes the importance of risk perception and market stability in driving market behavior. Trust in stablecoin systems, transparency, and regulatory, compliance influenced PVR and SA. The study's findings underscore the significance of perceived volatility reduction (PVR) in driving stablecoin adoption (SA), highlighting the importance of risk perception and market stability. This study delves into the potential direct impact of Fintech adoption, regulatory environment, technological infrastructure, and customer trust on the competitiveness of Fintech solutions. The study employs a questionnaire to gather data from 228 respondents in Jordan aged 18 or older, who were aware of Fintech and were selected through social media and other relevant channels. The outcomes from the Smart PLS path analysis reveal that Fintech adoption significantly impacts the competitiveness of Fintech solutions, supported by regulatory influence and technological infrastructure. Customer trust is crucial, fostering competitiveness through security, transparency, and reliability in Fintech services. Notably, the study contributes theoretical insights by underscoring the pivotal role of cultural acceptance in the dynamics of Fintech adoption and trust. From a practical standpoint, the findings suggest the formulation of tailored strategies for diverse markets, with an emphasis on trust, and an adaptation of product development to align with cultural nuances. Using the years 1970-2022, this research looks at the macroeconomic variables that have an impact on Jordan’s renewable energy production. To assess the main factors impacting Jordan’s renewable energy scenario, the study employed the dynamic autoregressive distributed lag (DARDL) tool. Several important aspects affecting renewable energy production are highlighted in the study. A multitude of factors that statistically and positively impact the attainment of renewable energy are diverse economic activities as measured by the GDP. The contribution of a fair economy in speeding up and maintaining promotion of renewable energy projects in Jordan is noticeable. Moreover, FDI is one of the factors in fostering renewable energy production and its role is very significant and positive, thus, it is affecting renewable energy production in a great extent. In a nutshell, overseas funding should be meant to yield a great harvest in planting and constructing Jordanian renewable energy plants and equipments. The study also indicates that finance is not just fundamental for renewable energy movement but for the evolution of the renewable energy industry as well. While the tried and true fact of the positively and statistically significant case of link between renewable energy production and financial development underline the vital role of a financially prosperous area in redirecting investments from traditional resources to renewable energy and therefore contribute to its further expansion. However, that idea needed some modification due to the disagreement that the CO2 emissions also have significant role in reducing renewable energy production. The study has identified that there is a negative correlation between the carbon emissions and renewable energy production if it is computed statistically. The implementation of more effective policies and initiatives that will result in reduced carbon emissions becomes possible with all sectors working together to form a better environment for the establishment of renewable energy infrastructures.

This study aims to demonstrate the impact of BPR in reducing cost in international business organizations by analyzing the impact of decentralization, re-engineering organizational structures, re-engineering human resources, industrial process technology, improving total quality standards, and value engineering. The study population includes all the international business organizations operating in the Middle East, with the condition that they operate in at least four countries. The results showed that there is a significant effect of all dimensions of BPR in reducing costs in international business organizations operating in the Middle East. When studying the impact of the dimensions combined, the moral effect appeared at each processes (decentralization, re-engineering of human resources and industrial process technology), while the moral effect did not appear in (rebuilding organizational structures, improving total quality standards, and value engineering). This does not negate the importance of the impact of these dimensions, but rather shows a disparity between dimensions in reducing cost, when studying its combined effect. The study aimed to investigate the impact of small and medium enterprises (SMEs) funding on, gross domestic product (GDP) and unemployment, as well as the amount of funding provided by the specialized institutions, and to identify the obstacles that these projects face in obtaining funding. The study population included the SMEs institutions in Jordan between the years 2009 and 2018. The study sample was limited to the Development and Employment Fund in Jordan as one of the most important SMEs funding institutions. Analytical and descriptive method was used to test the hypotheses, the simple regression model used to test the hypotheses of the study through the statistical model (SPSS). Abstract: This study aimed to investigate the most factors that affect market capitalization. The study was applied to all companies listed on Amman Stock Exchange (ASE) for the period (1978-2019), as a case study. Secondary data were collected from (ASE), and the analytical method was followed by using the multiple regression models through a statistical program (SPSS). The result shows that there is a statistically significant effect of (No. of Transactions, Turnover Ratio, EPS, Dividend Yield Ratio, P/BV, P/E) as independent factors on the market capitalization as a dependent factor, the explanatory power of the model was (Adjusted R Square = 87%), which means that (87%) of the changes in Market Capitalization are due to the independent factors used in this study, and (13%) of the changes due to other factors. In addition, the sub hypotheses of the study were tested to find the effect of factors individually on the market capitalization. The results shows that there is a statistically significant effect for each of (No. of Transactions, EPS, Dividend Yield Ratio, P / E), on the market capitalization, as well as there is no statistically significant effect for each of the factors (Turnover Ratio, P/BV) on the market capitalization. The purpose of this study is to explore how visionary leadership effects employee’s innovation in King Abdullah University Hospital located in Irbid, Jordan. A survey was conducted on 92 managers in King Abdullah University Hospital. Hierarchical regression was used to model the effect of visionary leadership on employee’s innovation through its internal and external elements. The internal elements are knowledge and imagination, and the external elements are resources and culture. The results show that visionary leadership improved employee’s innovation in King Abdullah University Hospital. Moreover, the elements of employee’s innovation (knowledge, imagination, resources and culture) are improved also by visionary leadership. To the best of our knowledge, we are not aware of any study that has previously investigated effects of visionary leadership on employee’s innovation, where this type of leadership style is recommended to enhance employee’s innovation; in King Abdullah University Hospital, visionary leadership is positively related with employee’s innovation and its elements.

The purpose of this study is to explore how work ethics (through work ethics elements: integrity, responsibility, equality and self-discipline) effects on employee’s job performance in SMEs in Al-Hassan Industrial Estate. A survey was conducted on 257 employees in SMEs in Al-Hassan Industrial Estate. Hierarchical regression was used to model the effect of work ethics on employee’s job performance. The work ethics elements are integrity, responsibility, equality and self-discipline. The results show that work ethics is improved employee’s job performance in SMEs in Al-Hassan Industrial Estate. Moreover, the elements of work ethics (integrity, responsibility, equality and self-discipline) also improved employee’s job performance. Moreoverthe company should be provided the necessary information to all auditors frankly, the managers should be authorized responsibility to employees, managers should be treated all employees fairly, and the workers should be carried out the tasks assigned to them by self-monitoring.
