Jerash University (JU) is considered as the first university in the northern region of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan to help solve both problems of poverty and unemployment. Through its Department of Administration and Services (DAS), JU recruits such many highly qualified and largely trained persons as faculty members, employees, clerks and skillful labors. DAS provides its services to all the various faculties, deanships, departments and centers of the University. As the backbone of JU, DAS operates through four sections under the supervision of HE President, Prof. Yousef Abu Odous, who—in turn and since appointed—saves no effort in planning, follow-ups and assessment.

This department aims to provide the university with faculty members, administrative and technical staff, in addition to the cleaning and security services. It also offers health services and follows
