Terms and Conditions

Terms and Conditions of Manuscript Submission:

  1. Manuscripts are published in Arabic, English, and French. However, submission in other foreign languages is acceptable with the editorial board approval.
  2. The Journal publishes manuscripts in the categories of review articles and reports on international conferences and refereed academic seminars.
  3. Abstracts of no less than 150 words are submitted in both languages, Arabic and English, and followed by the key words in the manuscript.
  4. All submitted manuscripts should be original, comprehensive, logically organized, and thoroughly investigated. The manuscript should be written in simple language and should also be precise.
  5. Manuscripts should not have been previously accepted for publication or published somewhere else.
  6. All submitted manuscripts are subject to peer review and editorial review.
  7. When accepted for publication, submissions become a property of the journal and cannot be reclaimed without the journal′s approval.
  8. Authors cannot republish their academic works without a written approval from the Editorial Board. In addition, the journal should be notified of the republication.
  9. The manuscript is to be sent to Jrs@jpu.edu.jo The format of the submitted manuscript must be:
  1. In a word processing format (i.e. MS Word).
  2. Serially numbered.
  3. Double-spaced throughout
  4. Font: Ariel Font Size: 14-point.
  5. Margins: 2.5 cm. (1 inch).
  1. A typical manuscript should not exceed 30 pages included figures, drawings, tables, and appendixes.
  2. All authors of a manuscript should include their full names, academic status, and affiliation on the cover page of the manuscript.
  3. The journal preserves its right not to publish any submission and the journal′s decisions are decisive.
  4. If not accepted, submissions are not returned to their authors.
  5. Authors are responsible for financial expenses when deciding to withdraw the manuscript.
  6. Authors amend their manuscripts according to the referees′ suggestions within a month of being notified of the acceptance.
  7. Submissions are compiled according to technical criteria set forth by the Editorial Board.
  8. Published manuscripts reflect their authors′ perspectives and are neither representative of Jerash University nor the Editorial Board.
  9. Works cited:
  1. References in the texts are serially numbered between brackets.
  2. References in the works cited are in the following order:

The author′s full name: reference, part, number, publisher, place of publication, year, page(s).

  1. In case a periodical or a journal is used, the author′s name is run first, and is followed by the periodical and/or journal title, volume, number, year, and page(s). Single pages take p., multiple pages take pp.
  2. Reference list entries should be alphabetized by the last name of the first author of each work, beginning with Arabic references and is followed by the foreign works.
  1. At the end of the research work the following should appear: -

First: the footnotes.

Second: a list of references and sources.
