General Policy for Quality and Quality Assurance at the Faculty of Nursing
Introduction
The Quality and Quality Assurance Committee at the Faculty of Nursing is looking forward to develop the components and internal quality systems in the faculty, so that it will be able to improve the academic and professional fields in line with other universities, institutes and international organizations, in order to be qualified for obtaining the academic accreditation from distinguished national and international bodies and to graduate students with high level of scientific and practical competences.
Objectives
1. Spread the culture of quality, its procedures and implementation mechanisms among the faculty employee
2. Working on implementing and following up the academic accreditation procedures
3. Evaluating the educational process by measuring the performance indicators of its inputs, processes and outputs.
4. Introducing the faculty’s procedures and achievements in the field of quality
5. Participation in conferences and workshops in order to benefit from experiences in the field of quality.
6. Determining the strengths and weaknesses points regarding the Bachelor's Program in Nursing and presenting appropriate suggestions to address and face them.
7. Dealing with scientific and technological developments and updates and trying to employ them in the context of the faculty.
8. Satisfying the beneficiaries in a way that does not contradict the scientific principles and does not prejudice the quality of the faculty’s outputs.
Achieve leadership and excellence in nursing education, research, and health care services.
To graduate highly skilled nurses in the fields of nursing along with an ethical sense of professional responsibility, develop nursing practice, conduct innovative research in various nursing areas, and provide community services through health care education for proper handling of various health conditions.
