Abstract This study aims to identify the impact of job environment on the satisfaction of the accountants working in Jordan Customs. The sample of the study consists of 182 accountants were randomly chosen from a total of 399 qualified accountants working for Jordan Customs, and 135 answered the questionair. A special questionnaire was developed to serve the purpose of this study, and the questioner consists of 49 questions divided into seven groups intended to cover employee's satisfaction as concerning work environment, incentives, training, representation of customs, evaluation and security, work relations and finally participation in planning and development. Frequencies, percentages, averages and one variance analysis have been used to answer the study questions. The results showed that the accountants' satisfaction was moderately high, and that the most important sources of their satisfaction were: incentives, work environment, training, etc. The results of the study also showed that there were no statistically significant differences (at the 0.05 level) in accountant's satisfaction due to the variables of sex, age, job level, experience, expect educational level. .

Abstract The moral side of the public officer conduct is considered the main controller in the ad-ministration development process , and any opposite conduct taken by public officer will reflect on his job which means deflecting the sought progress, on the other hand, applying morals correctly will not only expand willingness between beneficiaries of public services in the state . In spite of the many attempts taken by the state to stop and remedied the immoral conducts , this phenomenon is still rising corroporated by many administrative factors which exist unacceptable immoral conducts . The Jordanian legislator tried to stop this phenomenon and remade the consequences through disciplinary punishments to correct the conduct of the public officer . These punishments are inflicted after following disciplinary procedures . In addition to that m the legislator set certain duties to be followed strictly by public officer and illicit to be abstaining by them . .

Abstract The new Schiff base chelates derived from Salicylaldehyde and Tryptophane with Mn (II), Co (II), Ni (II), Cu (II) ions have been prepared and characterized by using different techniques, such as elemental analysis , molar conductance measurements, thermogravimetric analysis, magnetic moment measurements, infrared and electronic spectra. The elemental analysis data show the formation of 1:2 (M:L) ratio of the general formula of Nat (ML2)nH20, where M and L are the metal ions and ligand under investigation, and n+1, 1.5, 2, 5.5 and 16.5. The molar conductances of the prepared schiff base chelated indicate a non-electrolytic nature. The thermogravimetric analysis data of Na2(Mn(L)216.5H20 reveal the presence of water molecules. The magnetic moment measurements of the chelates exhibit a paramagnetic phenomena except Cd (II) chelate is diamagnetic. The infrared spectral data of the Schiff base and its chelates display the proper functional groups which take place in the complexation. The electronic spectral data show the existence of n-n*, n-n* (HC = N) transitions. The Schiff base and their chelates have been tested for their antibacterial activities against sever-al human pathogenic bacteria (some of which were resistant to commercially used antibacterial). The results showed a great activity of Cd chelate against Escherichia coli, Salmonelle typhi, pseudomonas aeruginosa, and Staphylococcus aureus. No effect of other compounds tested is observed against all bacteria used. Therefore, the use of Cd (II) chelate can be recorded as an antibacterial agent after further investigation on it's toxicity. .

An attempt is made to assess the water balance of Wadi Muqat basin (Lake Burqu') which occupied the most northeastern part of Jordan during a part of the Late Quaternary, and to reconstruct the climatic and environmental conditions (hydrology and temperature), through geomorphological and hydrological studies. Two main shorelines were determined and constructed for the lake of Wadi Muqat basin and two climatic models were accomplished to explain the water fluctuations during Late Quaternary depending on the calculation of the evapotranspiration (PE), runoff (RO) and free surface evaporation (EL) assuming that the mean annual temperature was 14.5oC and 10.9oC which means 4oC and 8oC less than the present mean annual temperature, respectively. Annual precipitation averages for sustaining water in the lake system reached (130 mm/yr) in climatic Model I and (60 mm/yr) in climatic Model II. .

Abstract Assume X is a compact space. It is possible to construct some different uniform algebras on X . In this paper, we investigate three kinds of related uniform algebras on compact space X . They are normal, have bounded relative units and strongly regular uniform algebras. We study some results and some connections between the previous by mentioned uniform algebras..

ABSTRACT: Three new cobalt(11), Nickel(II) and Copper(II) binuclear chelates with the general chemical formula; [M2L1L2(OH)2(H20)4].nH20, in which M represents either Co(11),Ni(Il) or Gap ions, L1 = Catechol, L2 = Benzoin and n equals 2 or 7 water molecules. These chelates have been synthesized and investigated by elemental analysis (C and H), molar conductance measurements, infrared and electronic spectra. The elemental analysis data satisfied the formation of 2:1:1 [M: L: L-] ratio. The molar conductance measurements reveal the presence of non electrolytic nature. The infrared spectral data show that the chelation may take place through the oxygen of the hydroxyl and the carbonyl group in the ligand moiety. The electronic spectral data suggest the existence of an octahedral geometry for all chelates. .
