Abstracts

This research aimed at knowing the degree of practicing ethical decision making process by the public secondary schools principals from teachers’ point of view in the capital Amman. The sample consisted of (120) teachers . A questionnaire was The validity and reliability developed and used to collect data. The findings of the research were: of the tool were achieved. The degree of practicing ethical decision making process by the public secondary schools principals came at medium level , and there were no significant differences in the degree of practicing ethical decision making process by the principals as perceived by teachers attried to sex (male-female) , and to experience , but there were a significant difference due to rank variables for the benefit of the ( experienced teacher ) . The study recommended : the need to organize training courses for Secondary Schools principals about ethical decision making and to conduct similar study using other variables. This study examined the level of administrative communication efficiency in the academic management in the official higher education institutions in the State of Kuwait. To achieve the objectives of the study, A questionnair was developed. The instrument of the study was applied after insuring their validity and reliability by applying them on a representative sample consisting of 500 persons from the academic leaders and teaching staff working in the official higher education institutions in the State of Kuwait in the academic year 2010- 2011 (the questionnaire of the study was applied). After gathering information, data was aralyized by using the means, standard deviations. The study concluded to the following results: The degree of administrative communication of the academic administration in | the higher education institutions in Kuwait was medium for the efficiency of communication in general, for the fields of efficient communication inside and outside the higher education institutions. The study proposed a group of recommendations including: the need to develop the administrative communication in the official higher education institutions in Kuwait. | .

The study aimed to identify the reality of the Gifted in public education in Medina, By identifying the Gifted policy and planning mechanisms in public education. The study used qualitative approach, interviews were conducted with a deliberate sample consisted of "30 individuals from working in the gifted programs from supervisors educators, teachers and coordinators of gifted programs. The study concluded: That gifted detection is the first step tc select the category that deserve care; And filtration mechanism is the most important steps Gifted; And that obstacles can be overcome detection talented spreading a culture of talent, and activating the nomination for gifted students themselves; and talented student is awarded a certificate give priority in admissions to universities and technical colleges. The results showed respondents complained of lack of comprehensive care for all schools and limited to general education students Saudis, and that there is duplication of work between the Ministry of Education, on the one hand and the King Abdul Aziz Foundation on the other. The interviews revealed the existence of blurry in dealing with the students, who are unmasked by the national project to identify talented, And that there are a number of obstacles to work, such as: leakage students and staff at the center, The lack of efficient conviction care centers. The study recommended establishing clear mechanisms for the nomination of talented and discovery, And directing the national bodies and institutions specialized activating new methods for the Gifted except enrichment method such | as: consolidation method and the accelerator, And directing universities and higher education institutions to develop specialized programs of study (Diploma and Bachelor) in Gifted. The study suggested conducting similar studies in other regions and cities; to determine the reality of the Gifted and talented students polled, and 1 measuring satisfaction with care programs that offer them, and a quantitative study of the reality of the Gifted, to develop Gifted policy. The current study investigates specifiers of Qur’anic general Signs among Hanfi Scholars by reviewing their most prominent compilations, inferring specifiers appearing in one or two Signs, and uncovering their impact on Hanafi deduction of legal judgements, including those peculiar to Hanafis, or those on which Hansfi Scholars differed among themselves. Additionally, the study defines the term ‘specifiers’, 5 foundations, and restrictions, establishing their origin through a perusal of Hanafi classical and modern compilations, those written in Baghdad or Samarqand. The researcher that specifiers of general Signs are eleven for Hanafi Scholars, some of which gained consensus among Hanafi Scholars along with scholars of other jurisprudent schools, and some other specifiers gained no consensus even among Hanafi Scholars. The researcher emphasized that among the reasons of difference in the opinions of Hanafi jurisprudents in some legal questions is attributed to the issue of specifying what is general. .

This study aims at exploring the range of the practice of education supervisors of‏ ‎their rolesin Islamic Center Society schools from the viewpoint of the teachers. both‏ ‎male and female. In order to carry out the aims of the study. the researcher tried to‏ ‎develop a questionnaire to collect data for this task. ‘The case study was the studied‏ ‎community that consists of (214) teachers.‏ ‎This study reached at a number of results. among the important ones is the result |‏ ‎that there was no statistical significant differences to be attributed to variables of‏ ‎study .The researcher recommended that the modern practices should be taken :‏ ‎into consideration in the process of supervision . the professional abilities of |‏ ‎supervisors should be carried out through special training courses and programs. r‏ ‎and to follow the most modern technicalities in schools like T.V.set and projectors‏ ‎and other kind of apparatus.‏ .

This study aimed at knowing the level of difficulties facing secondary school principals in implementing king Abdullahs’ Award for physical fitness. Arandom sample of (123) principals was drawn from secondary school principals in Amman. A Questionnaire was developed, to measure the level of difficulties , the descriptive methodology was applied , and SPSS program was used to analyze the collected data together with methods of descriptive statistics such as means , standard deviations , ( t— test ) and variation analysis to examine differences by variation . The results of the study showed that: —The Levels of difficulties facing the principals were high. — There were no significant statistical differences in the level of difficulties due to academic qualification, experience and areas. — The study recommended that principals should be given training programs and their allowance should be raised. This research work aims at emphasizing the peculiar nature of modern tragedy and the necessity of assessing this tragedy through its own terms, for it is inaccurate to interpret this drama in terms of a different dramatic tradition. This issue has led actually some crit- ics to deal with the plays as comedies or tragi-comedies, including Chekhov’s plays. The work provides a comprehensive critical survey of the development of the idea of tragedy, trying to spotlight the main theoretical notions and the relevant supporting arguments. the classi- cal, the renaissance, the pre-modern and modern. The different critical opinions produced on the nature and function of tragedy leads to a synoptic display of the notions, with citations about the main points to iiluminate the purpose of the study. The debate is that modern plays, among them the works of Chekhov, can be considered through an amalgamation of the comic and tragic elements, in addition to other artistic features. The sources of this incongruity are various: inade- quacy or delusion, foolishness or bureaucracy, failure or dejection, the inability or insignificance of the individual in a changing society, : the naturalistic forces beyond human control, and paralysis of human will or anti-heroism. The special artistic mode Chekhov followed in his plays in approximating and interpreting reality produces an open and ambiguous ending .Besides, Chekhov held a non-sentimental ob- jective view of reality and his synthesis of the comic and tragic is an ‘illustration of his artistic assessment. Technically speaking, the work offers a series of themes, ideas, and observations made through a criti- cal discussion of the issue of modern tragedy. Examining the modem conception of tragedy necessitates citations from the different critical writings produced over a long period of time, without which the dis- cussion of such a wide and complicated issue would remain incom- plete. .
