Abstracts

This study aimed to know the degree of contribution of Jordanian universities in the .‏ ‎evolution of the performance of school principals in the development of partnership with the‏ ‎local community from the perspective of managers themselves, and the impact of variables‏ ‎sex, educational qualification and experience, the survey method using descriptive and‏ ‎analytical. To answer the questions of the study, was developed tool included (35) items were‏ ‎distributed to the sample number of individuals (57) principals. The study showed that the‏ ‎degree of contribution of universities in developing the performance of managers in the‏ :١ ‎administrative area was medium average (1.70), and in low areas; technical and human‏ ‎relations average (1.52) and (1.50) respectively. And the lack of differences in the‏ ‎administrative area, and the existence of differences in the field of human relations, as well as‏ ‎the overall grade of the areas (& = 003.) Attributed sex in favor of females. And the existence |‏ ‎of differences in the administrative area, and the lack of differences in technical fields and‏ ‎human relations, as well as the overall degree of scientific attributable to qualified and in favor‏ ‎of administrators. And that there were no differences in all areas, as well as the overall degree‏ ‎attributable to the experience and in favor (11 years and above). Therefore, it can recommend‏ ‎the convening of courses related to the skills of managers continues to deal with the local‏ ‎community. !‏ ‎Key words: Jordanian universities, school managers, partnership, community‏ .

This study aimed to identify the degree of contribution of the Deanship of Student ‎Affairs at Jerash University in the development and promotion of national identity from the‏ ‎perspective of the students themselves and the relationship with selected variables (gender, ‎academic level, specialization). To achieve the purposes of the study the researchers prepared‏ ‎a questionnaire consisted of (40) items, and the validity and reliability of the instrument has‏ ‎been established, The study sample was selected randomly, and the number of the respondents .‏ ‎consisted of (250) students. The results showed that students estimate of the role of the‏ ‎Deanship of Student Affairs at Jerash University In the development and promotion of national.‏ ‎identity was moderately. The results also showed statistically significant differences (a <0.05( ‎due gender in favor of males. It also showed statistically significant differences (a < 0.05) due ‎to academic level in favor of more than a second year, Also it showed no Statistically‏ ‎significant differences (a < 0.05) due to the impact of the specialization.‏ ‎According to the results of the study the researchers recommend for real attention about‏ ‎activities and events that organized by the University that represented by the Deanship of‏ ‎Student Affairs, of the national events.‏ ‎Keywords: Deanship of Student Affairs, national identity .‏ .

The current study aimed to identify the degree of the contribution from the Faculty of Applied Studies and community services in the eastern region (Saudi Arabia) in the development of community responsibility to its students from the point of view of the students themselves. For the purposes of the study, the researcher prepared a verified questionnaire | consisting of 40 items, its constant reached (0.84) using Cronbach Alpha equation (a way of ‏ ‎ ‎testing and re-testing) by using Pearson correlation coefficient which reached (0.91) , The study sample has been chosen randomly with (450) student, researcher used the analytical descriptive approach -in analyzing of collected data, the study concluded the following: The degree of the contribution of faculty in developing social responsibility, among her students, were moderately, and it also showed a statistically significant differences (a = 0.05( due to the impact of the academic level, and in favor of more than a second year, and also showed no statistically significant differences (a = 0.05) attributed to the impact of specialization. In the light of the findings of the study, the researcher recommends the following: the inclusion of the concepts and principles of social responsibility in university courses. This study aimed to identify the role of top administatien staff to attain‏ ‎quality certificate in public and private universities in the Hashemite‏ ‎Kingdom of Jordan.To achieve the objectives of the study aquestionnaire‏ ‎consists of (33) paragraphs in four areas which is ( Strategic Planning ,‏ ‎organization, decision-making , communication )was constructed‏ ‎The realibialy and vailidty of The questionnaire wereestablished The‏ ‎study sample consisted of ( 386 ) administrative and staff members.The‏ ‎results of shwed the following result study results of,The field of Strategic‏ ‎planning came in first placeto obtain a certificate of quality,The 3‏ | ‎communication area came in the last place to obtain a certificate of .‏ ‎quality.The results also showed statistically significant differences.due to the‏ ‎variableand gender, age, and the results were in favor of females , age 36‏ ‎years and older respectively.In light of the findings the study recommended‏ ‎the need to activate the work in partnership between leaders and staff of the |‏ ‎organizations > ‎key words : top management , total quality .‏ .

This study aims at investigation the role higher education his is‏ ‎employing education technology for social development. The population of‏ ‎the study consisted of all staff members at tabuk university, totaling (1500) of‏ ‎specializations and academic ranks. The sample consisted of (150) members‏ ‎of teaching staff. A questionnaire divided into four sectors was developed to‏ ‎fulfill the objectives of this study. The results of the study showed that higher‏ ‎education has an average role in the employment of education technology.‏ ‎The study also revealed a statistically significant difference in fin favors of ‏ ‎females. No statistically significant difference is attributed to specialization,‏ ‎degree, age and experience. The study recommends that infra-structure in‏ ‎employing education technology and communication be employed in all‏ ‎higher education institutions that have a direct impact on social development .

The study aimed to identify the role of Omar Al-Mukhtar University in ‏ ‎community service through the following dimensions: (dissemination of culture and‏ ‎providing consultancy, scientific research, training and continuing education). The‏ ‎study also aimed to identify the most obstacles that limit the role of Omar Al- ‎Mukhtar University in community service, as well as identifying whether there was a‏ ‎substantial statistically significant differences between the average of the Faculty‏ ‎members viewpoints on the role of Omar Al-Mukhtar University in community‏ ‎service, due to some of the following demographic variables: gender, age,‏ ‎educational qualification, degree, length of service. The study followed the case‏ ‎study method to achieve the objectives of the study; the researcher developed a‏ ‎questionnaire based on some previous studies, which they were sure of their validity‏ ‎and reliability coefficient. The study population included all Faculty members of‏ ‎Omar Al-Mukhtar University in Derna branch, totaling (210) members , and to‏ ‎determine the sample size, the researcher has relied on krejcie and Morgan table‏ ‎as it determined the number of (132) members, and after the distribution of ‏)1970( , ‎the questionnaire, (104) valid forms were retrieval for a statistical analysis, and the‏ . ‎analysis of the study data was done by computerized method using a statistical ‎software program provided in the (SPSS). According to the percentages, the ‎mathematical averages, standard deviations, T test, One — Way — ANOVA test, the‏ ‎following summarized results were reached: The study revealed that the overall level‏ ‎of the role of Omar Al-Mukhtar University in serving the community from the‏ ‎Faculty members of Derna branch view point was moderate. It additionally showed‏ ‎that there are impediments to limit the role of Omar Al-Mukhtar University in service‏ ‎degree high. The study concluded that the most obstacle was that the majority of‏ ‎research directed to get degrees and not to serve the community, and showed that‏ ‎there are no statistically significant differences between the averages of the responses‏ ‎of Faculty members on the role of Omar Al-Mukhtar University in community‏ ‎service Overall attributable demographic variables under study; the study showed no a‏ ‎statistically significant fundamental differences between the averages responses of‏ ‎the Faculty members branch on the role of Omar Al-Mukhtar University in‏ ‎community service variable training and continuing education due to the variables of‏ ‎age and length of service at a significant level of 5%, Finally, the study made a series‏ ‎of recommendations which will hopefully be followed to activate the role of the‏ ظ ‎university under study in the service community.‏ ‎Keywords : Omar Al-Mukhtar University, Community Service, Faculty‏ ‎Members , Libya .‏ .

The study aims at revealing the evaluation of the high education role in ! students rehabilitation to construct their professional project at the light of three variables: gender, the academic level and the institute. To realize that the researcher used the descriptive analytic method based on a questionnaire. It was applied on 383 university students (males and females) belonging to different specializations. The results show that the level of the university’s role in the youth rehabilitation was medium at the total score and at the four " fields of the instrument, there were no significant differences attributed to gender, the academic level and the institute. This scientific paper aimed to identify the recent situation of the higher educational‏ ‎institutes, in developing the knowledge economic concepts in the society development, in‏ ‎addition to identify the recent challenges which affect the integrated relation between these‏ ‎institutes and the society. Also the researcher introduce a future vision to develop the recent‏ | ‎situation so as to satisfy the society needs, according to the knowledge economic concepts.‏ ‎The researcher used the descriptive method, in which he designed a questionnaire, The‏ ‎population of the questionnaire were (35) of teaching staff members, in the society‏ ‎departments in the colleges of society and economic studies, in Khartoum state. (32) of them ‎were responded whom they were considered the study sample. An interview with four deans of‏ ‎the society development colleges has been done. Also an interview with two experts in the‏ ‎quality domain has been done. Then the researcher used the statistical program SPSS to‏ ‎analyze the data. The results of the scientific paper showed, that The recent situation of :‏ ‎implementing the knowledge economic concepts in the higher education institutes, pointed to‏ ‎a shortage in the intrinsic dimensions for implementing these concepts according to the‏ ‎international standards. And the higher educational institutes can contribute with a somewhat‏ ‎role in conserving the cultural identity, and the social values, but they are not arises with this‏ ‎contribution in accompaniment coping the rapid of the knowledge and economic revolution. .

The study aimed to identify the ratings of faculty Palestinian universities members of the‏ ‎reality of innovation management indicators . detect if there a statistically significant‏ | ‎differences at the level of significance (0.05> a) between the mean scores estimate the‏ ‎sample to the reality of innovation management indicators attributed to variables : (sex ,‏ ‎college, years of service ). To achieve this, the researcher follows descriptive analytical‏ ‎method , the application of a questionnaire made up tool (60) items distributed on (4)‏ ‎areas , a sample (200 ) faculty member of the ( Al-Azhar , The Islamic University ) Gaza‏ ‎province , the study found that :.‏ ‎The degree of appreciation respondents to the reality of innovation management indicators‏ - ‎were ( 75.94 % ) which is a large degree.‏ ‎There were no statistically significant differences at the level of significance (0.05> a)‏ - ١ ‎between the mean scores of the respondents estimate the reality of innovation‏ . ‎management indicators attributed to all variables.‏ ‎In light of the results have been drafting a set of proposals which might contribute to‏ ‎the activation of innovation management in the Palestinian universities indicators, the study‏ ‎recommended that the establishment of a special unit in every university that specializes in the‏ ‎management of innovation , with the introduction of the proposals .‏ ‎Key words: Innovation Management, Palestinian universities .

This study aimed to identify the level of applying corporate governance in the Jordanian public shareholding industrial and service companies listed on Amman Stock Exchange during the advisory stage of corporate governance (2005-2008) and compulsory stage (2009-2015), and to identify the impact of this level of application on reducing financial distress, relying on the following corporate governance rules: boards of directors, general assembly meetings, rights of the shareholders and disclosure and transparency. To achieve the objectives of the study the content analysis approach, based on actual annual reports of sample companies, was used to fill the corporate governance questionnaire as approved by the Securities Commission. The final sample consisted of (95) industrial and Service Company (48) of them were financially distressed, they incurred losses for two or more consecutive years,and (47) non-financially distressed companies, that were as close as possible to financially distressed companies in terms of assets size), during the study period (2005-2015),making study total observations (855). The most important results of this study were: Applying corporate governance rules have an important impact on reducing financial distress in public shareholding companies, and that the level of applying Corporate Governance during the compulsory stage was (89.88%) in the Non- financially distressed companies compared to (74.93%) in the financially distressed companies. The most important recommendations of the study are: There is a need to emphasize the full compliance with the requirements of the Corporate Governance rules, being one of the important mechanisms to prevent financial distress in public shareholding companies, and to activate the role of the Securities Commission follow-up on corporate compliance. The study also emphasize the importance of the supervisory role of the Companies Control Department - Ministry of Industry to follow-up distressed companies.
