The study aimed to reveal the inclusion degree of Islamic educational values in Islamic educationtextbooks for the higher primary stage in Jordan. The analytical descriptive approach wasemployed. To achieve the objectives of the study, a list consisting of educational Islamic valueswas structured as the study tool. The tool included three major fields: The ethical field, thedoctrinal field, and the social field. The tool was applied to the study sample, which consisted ofIslamic education textbooks for eighth, ninth, and tenth grades, in the higher primary stage inJordan. The study concluded the availability of Islamic educational values to varying degrees ineighth, ninth, and tenth grades Islamic education textbooks, where the field of (doctrinal values)ranked first, with a high percentage, and the field of (social values) ranked second, with amoderate percentage, and the field of (moral values) ranked third, with a low percentage.The study results revealed that the Islamic Education textbook for the ninth grade came in thefirst place, as the total number iterations of Islamic educational values in this book reached (307)iterations, and the Islamic education textbook for the tenth grade came in the second place, as thetotal iterations of Islamic educational values reached (194) iterations. Regarding Islamiceducation textbook for the eighth grade ranked third, with a total (183) repetition. Based on that,the study recommended that those in charge of developing Islamic education curricula shouldbenefit from the analysis results by increasing lessons and topics that develop different Islamiceducational values.Keywords: Islamic educational, values, textbooks, primary, basic stage.
The study aimed to build an integrative curriculum for the Arabic language and Islamic education in the light of Surat Azz-ukhruf, and its role in providing learners with integrative skills, such as reading, writing, recitation, enlightened thinking, and communication with others, and the study used the descriptive analytical approach, and the study reached the elements of the integrative curriculum in the light of Surat Azz-ukhruf, including: Objectives at its three levels: general educational, cognitive, and behavioral. This is achieved through its logical, psychological, vertical and horizontal organization, one of its principles is: Moving from the known to the unknown, moving from simple to complex, moving experience from the past to the present and moving from the easy to the difficult, and its elements are activities, means, teaching methods, teacher and learner, and the learner has basic needs, including: innate, mental, psychological and social, and the last elements of the curriculum is calendar, and the foundations of building the integrative curriculum in the light of Surat Azz-ukhruf. the cognitive, social, philosophical and psychological basis, and the study reached the construction of a proposed perception of an integrative curriculum for the Arabic language and Islamic education in the light of Surat Azz-ukhruf.Keywords: Integrative curriculum, Arabic language, Islamic education, Surat Azz-ukhruf
This study aimed at investigating the availability of criticalthinking skills in the Arabic language and Islamic educationtextbooks depending on their teachers’ point of view inJerash Governorate. The researchers have used thefunctional analytical approach. They prepared aquestionnaire that consisted of 36 paragraphs which havetargeted four skills, and the sample consisted of 97 femaleteachers. After finding the arithmetic mean and thestandard deviation of the four skills, the results revealed thatthe targeted skills are highly present in the Arabic languageand Islamic education textbooks according to their teachers’point of view. Accordingly, the researchers recommendedconducting more studies that investigate critical thinking,and training the teachers to teach it, as well as to involveteachers in the process of composing school textbooks.Keywords: critical thinking skills, the Arabic language andIslamic education, the first three grades

The objective of this research was to investigate the concept of taste sense and its educational implications in Islamic education. It also examined the importance of the sense of taste as a tool and method of learning, teaching, and upbringing. The study employed a descriptive approach, specifically content analysis. The findings revealed that the references to taste sense and its terminology in the context of the Quran were repeated (63) times, using various verb forms. The term "flavor" was more prevalent in verses related to punishment compared to other verses. It was also frequently found in the Meccan Surahs, which specifically addressed those who denied resurrection. The term "flavor" was used in relation to food and drink in three verses. Certain Islamic factions believe that true understanding can be acquired through taste rather than intellect. The study recommended incorporating the sense of taste in the process of learning.Keywords: Sense of Taste, Learning and Teaching, Islamic Education
هدفت هذه الدراسة إلى الكشف عن درجة التزام طلبة الدراسات العليا في جامعة جرش بمبادئ التربية الإسلامية والإجتماعية من وجهة نظر أعضاء هيئة التدريس، ولتحقيق هدف الدراسة اتبع الباحثين المنهج الوصفي المسحي من خلال تطبيق أداة الدراسة والتي كانت عبارة عن استبانة مكونة من(20) فقرة على أفراد عينة الدراسة البالغ عددهم(40)عضو هيئة تدريس،وقد أظهرت نتائج الدراسة أن درجة التزام طلبة الدراسات العليا بمبادئ التربية الإسلامية والإجتماعية من وجهة نظر أعضاء هيئة التدريس في جامعة جرش جاءت مرتفعة، كما أظهرت الدراسة عدم وجود فروق في تقديرات أفراد عينة الدراسة لدرجة التزام طلبة الدراسات العليا بمبادئ التربية الإسلامية والإجتماعية من وجهة نظر أعضاء هيئة التدريس حسب متغيري( الجنس، والكلية)، وقد أوصت الدراسة تضمين مبادئ التربية الإسلامية والإجتماعية من قبل أعضاء هيئة التدريس في مساقاتهم التي يقومون بتدريسها لطلبة الدراسات العليا، حتى يتم ممارسة هذه المبادئ عملياً من قبل الطلبة. الكلمات المفتاحية:طلبة الدراسات العليا، مبادئ التربية الإسلامية والإجتماعية،جامعة جرش،أعضاءهيئة التدريس
