Dr. Mohammad Al-KasasbehProfessor of Mathematics | Educational Innovator | Founder of Math EdTech Lab & Math Cafe
Dr. Mohammad Al-Kasasbeh is a seasoned academic with a passion for advancing mathematics education through digital innovation. He holds a PhD in Mathematics from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (2017), where his research focused on complex functions defined by new differential operators. His educational journey also includes a Master's degree in Mathematics from the same institution and a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics and Statistics from Mu'tah University in Jordan.
As a dedicated educator, Dr. Al-Kasasbeh has worked on various initiatives aimed at enhancing the learning experience for students, both in traditional and online environments. He is the founder of Math Cafe, an innovative platform designed to reduce math anxiety by teaching mathematics in an engaging and technology-driven way. The café approach has helped countless students gain confidence and improve their mathematical abilities in a relaxed, non-traditional setting.
In addition, Dr. Al-Kasasbeh established the Math EdTech Lab, where he focuses on equipping students with digital skills essential for the modern educational landscape. The lab offers training in digital content creation, asynchronous mathematics lessons, and entrepreneurial skills, empowering students to create their own job opportunities through educational technology projects.
Dr. Al-Kasasbeh is also an accredited higher education quality assessor for the Accreditation and Quality Assurance Commission for Higher Education (AQACHEI) and has played a pivotal role in aligning the qualifications of the Mathematics Department at Jerash University with Jordan’s National Qualifications Framework (NQF).
Committed to continuous learning, Dr. Al-Kasasbeh has developed expertise in various digital tools and platforms, including LaTeX, Mathematica, MATLAB, and Blender. He is also skilled in using Learning Management Systems (LMS) and platforms such as Zoom, Manim, and Premiere to create engaging online educational content.
Dr. Al-Kasasbeh's academic and entrepreneurial endeavors reflect his commitment to improving education, enhancing student employability, and contributing to the advancement of digital learning and teaching methods, especially in the field of mathematics.
